Dayvise brand

The approved visuals for the Dayvise name and the smiling-sun mark — kept consistent wherever they appear.

Marks and lockups

The Dayvise mark is a cream sun with a coral outline, a near-black smiling face and a pink-red tongue. The lockups pair the symbol with the Dayvise wordmark: use the light wordmark on dark backgrounds and the dark wordmark on cream or white surfaces.

These previews identify the approved artwork, which is published under /brand/ on this site so the originals stay reachable. Publishing the files is not a licence: any use beyond honest references to us stays subject to the brand use and copyright notice.

Colors

Four colors carry the identity. They are fixed values — not approximate relatives:

Jetblack #050506 The canvas everything lives on
Coral #FF1F49 The sun's outline — and our one signal
Cream #FCF7EC The sun's face; light fills and chips
Ink #141317 The face and near-black text on cream

Accessible text pairings: coral or cream on jetblack, and ink on cream — these hold the 4.5:1 contrast that normal-size text requires. Near-black text on jetblack fails that contrast decisively, so there is no dark-text-on-jetblack pairing; coral on cream misses the same 4.5:1 bar, so it stays for graphic accents rather than reading copy.

Clear space and minimum size

Give the mark room to breathe: keep the space around it at least as tall as one of its sun rays, all the way round, free of other graphics or text.

The smallest useful sizes: the mark at 32 px on screens (about 8 mm in print) and the lockup at 120 px wide on screens (about 24 mm in print). Below that, use the mark alone rather than the lockup.

Don't alter the mark

  • Don't redraw, stretch, rotate or mirror the artwork.
  • Don't recolor it, outline it, add shadows or any effect.
  • Don't rebuild the wordmark by picking a similar font — use the published lockups.
  • Don't place it over busy images or against competing logos.

The files as published are the ones we can support — altered versions aren't the Dayvise brand.

Endorsement and association

The brand must never imply that Dayvise endorses — or is endorsed by, partnered with, or affiliated to — any product, service, publication or opinion, unless we agree to it in writing first. When you refer to us honestly in text, do so in your own voice, without making Dayvise look prominent in your own material.

Factual, descriptive and editorial references — naming Dayvise in a review, in news coverage, in an index, or anywhere else the law lets you refer to us — remain permitted. Nothing on this page removes what applicable law already allows you to say.

When we ask you to write first

Please get our written permission before: putting the marks on merchandise or digital goods, using modified versions of them, running anything co-branded, or using the brand in any way not described on this page. A short description of what you plan is enough to start the conversation.

Ownership

The Dayvise name and the smiling-sun mark are unregistered marks. All rights in the name, the mark, the artwork and this website are reserved by Suyash Kelvin Savant; nothing here claims a registration, and our name is never followed by a registration symbol anywhere on this site.

This page describes how we apply our own rights. Where the law itself protects honest references to us, or other uses, without approval, that law takes priority over anything written here. For anything unclear, or for permission requests, write to the public contact address in the footer.
